Beautiful Candy Store Wedding

Though I’m not so thrilled with the dress, the concept of a candy store wedding is awesome and freaky bad-ass.

candystorewedAs far as non traditional wedding venues go, this one is pretty amazing.  Who wouldn’t want to get married amidst all that sugar?

Along the way, the brothers have written and performed music for HBO (including “Sex and the City”), NBC, ESPN and QVC. Classical Wedding Music

For a wedding with a more classical feel, you might want to try out this string quartet music for weddings.
Founded in 2005, the New York City-based Lumiere String Quartet is in great demand and is often seen playing together at various museums, restaurants, hotels, clubs, parks, churches, universities, and private parties. Some latest highlights have been performances at Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Clarion for former Taiwanese President Lee Teng-Hui, The Loft on West Street, The Central Park Boat House and The New Leaf Cafe in Fort Tryon Park, to name a few. Ways to Save Money in 2010

cashWhen you’re planning a master wedding, you  might be trying to save money in all other aspects of life so that you can have the wedding of your dreams.

Saving money in 2010 is a great goal for everyone, not just the bride-to-be.  Here are a few ways to save money and keep everyone in the family happy and on budget.

  • Eat In - By dining out only on weekends, you can save as much as $500 per month!  If cooking is not your thing, then planning is very important.  If you can figure out 10 meals that you can cook (that you actually like to eat), you can stretch them out over the month.  Even if it’s PB&J, just keep your eyes on the prize and you can do it.
  • Shop Around for Car Insurance - You may be over paying for car insurance! Shop around online for the best rates and you just might be able to squirrel away a couple of extra hundred dollars per month.
  • Coupons - Your mother really did save money by clipping coupons and so can you.  Clip coupons from the Sunday paper to use on your regular grocery shopping day.  Since you’re planning to eat at home, you don’t want to use all that extra money you’re saving at the grocery store, so start clipping and start saving!

How are you planning to save money in 2010?

Music for Weddings that Won’t Make You Gag

wedding-musicIf you are having a more traditional wedding and are looking for the perfect music, chances are, this CD will be all you need. Not only does it have Cannon in D - the traditional “walking down the aisle song”, it also has Ode to Joy (great to exit with) and several other classical pieces that make for beautiful music for weddings.

For all you geeks out there who may not want traditional music for weddings, you might try this John Williams box set. It comes with all the great movie classics. One of my most favorite wedding moments ever was when the couple exited to The Imperial March from Star Wars.
