Inexpensive Wedding Favors – BALLS!
Today’s featured wedding favor is: BALLS!
You can get these great inexpensive wedding favors from gumballs.com. Design your own label and then use a cheap clear bag for the balls. Simply tape the label together and then attach it to the bag of balls. You can even get the balls in the colors of your wedding.
Another fun alternative is bouncy balls. My friend Christy collects bouncy balls and I got this idea from looking at her huge glass bowl filled with them that sits on her coffee table. It is irresistable!
There are plenty of places online to order these. Of course, most of these companies are used to selling to giant corporations and putting things like “Dell” and “Microsoft” on the balls but they will print anything on them that you like.
These are a great way to turn your reception into a room full of drunken adults acting like 10 year olds. And isn’t that what everyone wants at their wedding?

Bad-Ass Vegas Weddings
Vegas is almost as famous for weddings as it is for some of its more questionable roots and activities. In fact there are wedding chapels on almost every corner and in almost every major casino on the strip and beyond. There are themed weddings, elegant weddings, simple weddings, alien weddings, and all kinds of weddings in between. Other than gambling, it seems that Vegas knows the most about weddings.
If you’re planning a wedding, thinking about a wedding, or simply want to avoid a wedding and would like to run away and get married, might I suggest one of the many wedding chapels in Vegas? It takes all kinds of people to put together a fairy tale wedding however it can be done in Vegas in a matter of minutes. There are even wedding chapels in Vegas that will rent you costumes in which to get married. There are also those that rent the dresses and tuxedos for the more traditionally minded among you.

Bad-Ass Groom Wedding Speech
So you’re the groom. And the bride expects you to give a speech after the wedding. And you’re terrified.
What do you do?
A great groom wedding speech must include sincerity, humor, romance and a promise to your new bride. The problem comes when you have a groom who does not like to write and would rather play the x-box than give a public speech.
You certainly don’t want to stand before your bride, your friends and your family and try to “wing it”. You will want to make your speech something that your new wife will remember forever.
There is, however, plenty of help to be found. The best resource that I have found for the groom wedding speech is actually an ebook that you can download online. It includes 20 sample speeches, a step by step guide to creating your own speech and tons of wedding appropriate jokes that you can include. Click here to check it out!

Beautiful Lacy Tape to the Rescue
Who says tape has to be ugly and gray? Check out this awesome lacy tape from Boiler Design Office. It would be so easy to incorporate into your wedding in plenty of DIY ways.
I love the way they used them on these boxes. They look great and the tape is functional, too.
The best thing is, since this is packaging tape, you can actually use it just about anywhere. What a great way to wrap wedding party gifts or even decorate a little at the wedding!

Wedding Music Activities that Won’t Make You Yawn
Music is as much a component of a good wedding as food and drink. You can have a wedding without music, but it’s likely it will seem a little quiet and dull. So whether you have a full live band, a string quartet, a DJ spinning tunes or recorded music from a boom box, it should be included.
But music’s not just for dancing. There are a myriad of activities you can plan around the music that will add an element of fun to your wedding.

Non traditional Wedding Guest Book – Mailbox!
Here’s another awesome idea for the wedding guest book. This old mailbox makes a beautiful bit of scenery – especially for a rustic wedding!
You can get your own vintage style postcards for the guests to write a message to you and insert into the box.
This is the kind of activity that everyone loves – it looks great, it’s unique, it’s memorable, it’s interactive and it’s functional.
Besides, it’s just too darn cute!

How about a Wedding Cruise?
If you are looking for a non traditional wedding venue, how about a wedding cruise? There are a lot of couples who are choosing a fantastic yacht wedding over a regular church wedding and they are loving it.
You might be surprised at how much money you could save choosing yacht rentals instead of spending a ton of money decorating your own elaborate wedding.
Also, with a wedding cruise, all the details are taken care of and all you have to do is worry about looking like a princess and enjoying your wedding day.
