Budget – What Budget?
One of the best things about being a bride is the shopping! However, when the costs start adding up, you may have to revisit your budget and look at some things that may be unpleasant. What if you went nuts with the cake and now you can’t afford the party favors you had your heart set on? There are a few ways to avoid this heart-breaking madness -
1. Review your budget after every purchase. If you have a wedding planner, work closely with them to make sure that the budget is wrapped up tight and you are doing everything in your power to keep things running smoothly. If you don’t have a wedding planner, and you are the one responsible for keeping things in check, review your budget after each and every purchase. This way, if you go way over budget on one item, you can move some numbers around on other things and you’ll know exactly where you stand.
2. Shop online. Shopping online helps you to avoid impulse purchases and actually encourages shopping around for the best deals. There are many websites devoted to finding you the best price for the item you are looking for – use them! Also, when you’re ready to check out, many website vendors have a coupon code box to fill in. Don’t skip it! It’s there for a reason. Look around online for good coupon codes for that website and you can save some serious cash!
