Inexpensive Wedding Favors – BALLS!

Today’s featured wedding favor is: BALLS!

weddingballs You can get these great inexpensive wedding favors from gumballs.com.  Design your own label and then use a cheap clear bag for the balls.  Simply tape the label together and then attach it to the bag of balls.  You can even get the balls in the colors of your wedding.

Another fun alternative is bouncy balls.  My friend Christy collects bouncy balls and I got this idea from looking at her huge glass bowl filled with them that sits on her coffee table.  It is irresistable!

There are plenty of places online to order these. Of course, most of these companies are used to selling to giant corporations and putting things like “Dell” and “Microsoft” on the balls but they will print anything on them that you like.

These are a great way to turn your reception into a room full of drunken adults acting like 10 year olds.  And isn’t that what everyone wants at their wedding?

Wedding Cookies that Look Like You!

wedding cookiesCheck out these awesome wedding cookies! In the course of doing this blog, I have come across some amazing wedding cookies, but these are quite unique.

You can give these as wedding favors or serve them to your guests. The best part? They look like the bride and the groom!

These bad-ass cookies were made by www.parkerscrazycookies.com. It looks like they did a fantastic job with them.

I mean really, don’t you want to bite the head off the groom?

Beautiful Lacy Tape to the Rescue

lace tapeWho says tape has to be ugly and gray? Check out this awesome lacy tape from Boiler Design Office. It would be so easy to incorporate into your wedding in plenty of DIY ways.

I love the way they used them on these boxes. They look great and the tape is functional, too.

The best thing is, since this is packaging tape, you can actually use it just about anywhere. What a great way to wrap wedding party gifts or even decorate a little at the wedding!

Give Your Guests a Slice of Heaven

Look at these gorgeous tiny little wedding cakes.

Just look at em!

These are found at The Yummy Cake Company and are meant to be boxed up and given to guests as favors at the end of the wedding.

I’ve never been to a wedding where the favor was my own personal small wedding cake, but I would love it if someone presented me with one of these! They are beautiful and I can bet that they are pretty darn tasty!

I’m not sure how much they sell for each, but really, you could not get a better wedding favor. This is spectacular compared with some of the other crap that I have seen given away at weddings!

Non Traditional Wedding Idea – Temporary Tattoos!

love-tattoosHere’s an idea that comes straight from my own non traditional  wedding!  Get your guests involved with a little love flair. Print up temporary tattoos for your guests and put them in a basket or on the tables at the reception!

Our tattoos were something like the ones pictured here, except we added in our names and the wedding date.  They turned out ultra-cool and everyone loved them.

The best part was all the photos that we got of wedding guests with these things slapped all over their faces, arms, legs, etc!

They’re super easy to make, too.  Just get some temporary tattoo paper…You can find this online in several places like this one.

Once you get your paper, just create your tattoo design in a blank document and then start printing! The package of tattoo paper that you get will have detailed instructions on how to do it correctly.  Make sure that you follow them!

Always remember to print out a test sheet on regular paper first.  If that sheet looks good, go ahead and print out ONE tattoo paper sheet. Then if that one looks good, you can go on ahead and print out several at a time.

If you like the idea, but don’t want to do it yourself, there are a couple of places online where you can get custom temporary tattoos made for you.  StrayTats.com is the cheapest one we have found. They actually have several templates that you can work with and just insert your names.  These are great and while they are a little pricey, you can order any number from 1 to a thousand! They more you buy, the less they are each.

It’s way cheaper, though to just do them yourself.  If you have trouble with the art end of it, surely you have a cool artist friend, right? There’s usually help right around the corner if you just ask.

Of course, if you just want simple non-custom wedding tattoos, you can easily find those online for very little money, but they are simply just not as cool.

Lip Balm Wedding Favors

This is one of the cutest, unique wedding favors that I have seen. Available at My Wedding Favors, you can get these personalized containers of lip balm to give away to your guests.

Lest you think they are too feminine to give away to your male guests, they are lip balm, not lip gloss. You can easily have them personalized with the name of the couple, along with a cute graphic that goes along with the theme of your wedding.

They are easy to order and come in quite fast. Also, they are cheap! You can get them for as little as $1.50 per container!

If you are looking for some unique wedding favors, this may be the way to go!
