How to Have a Rustic Wedding
I love, love, love a rustic wedding! The casual dress wear, the outdoor settings, the decorations – it’s all wonderful. Rustic weddings create quite a scene. Decorated with natural materials such as wood, cotton and flowers, the scene is natural, beautiful, light and airy.
One of the loveliest rustic wedding brides I have ever seen was wearing a white sundress and cowboy boots. The look suited her completely and she looked right at home at her outdoor ceremony. Keep the look casual, but elegant and you’ll be spot on.
Decorate minimally. Let nature be your decor. Have the wedding outside with only a few chairs and flowers. Use woods and vines to create an archway.
Place a table full of photos near the reception area. Use black and white photos in antique frames to keep with the rustic theme. If you are unsure of other decorations, do a quick rustic wedding photo search and you’ll find plenty of creative ideas to keep you busy!

Artificial Wedding Bouquets – Using Jewelry to Create Awesomeness
When you’re planning a wedding, one of the things you’re going to have to think about is your bouquet. Though some people choose to use live flowers – usually the same type they will use for decorating – some brides prefer to go the artificial wedding bouquet route.
There are plenty of ways to do this. You can purchase artificial flowers online or at your local craft store and experiment with making the bridal bouquet yourself. You can also do a quick search online for “artificial wedding bouquets” and you will find a ton of bouquets for sale. Some beautiful – some not so beautiful.
Vintage Magpie over at Etsy is making some incredibly gorgeous artificial wedding bouquets using jewelery, buttons, flowers and more. Pictured above is her Vintage Seaside Bouquet – perfect for beach weddings. If you’re a crafty bride, you might want to try your hand at making bouquet like hers, though I know that there’s no way that I could match her talent!
Bouquets come in all shapes and sizes – some women even use homemade felt flowers in bold colors for their bouquets. It’s all up to your imagination. Have you come up with a creative artificial bouquet? Leave a comment below and tell us about it.

Hiring a Wedding Planner – What You Need to Know
If you’ve recently gotten engaged, you know what a huge task it is to plan a wedding. Some ladies take pleasure in planning the entire event themselves, while others know that they won’t be able to make it without a wedding planner. There are several advantages to hiring a wedding planner to help you out, including the following:
- Wedding planners create a valuable space between you and your family. Your family may have one idea for your wedding, while you have another. If this is the case, a wedding planner can help mediate between you and your family, insuring that you get the wedding you want, while your family is not offended.
- Wedding planners can save you money. Sometimes wedding planners can get deals on rentals, flowers, etc. that you would be unable to get on your own. Check your wedding planner blog for tips on how to save money on wedding essentials and create the wedding of your dreams for less.
- Wedding planners are especially helpful when you are planning a destination wedding. For instance, South Asian Weddings can help you plan a gorgeous South Asian wedding without even leaving the country.
It’s easy to find a good wedding planner if you know where to look. Ask other brides for recommendations that can point you in the right direction in finding a wedding planner to meet all of your needs. For instance, this San Francisco Wedding Planner has a great reputation and reliable resources. By doing a little homework and some valuable web research, youwill be able to hire a wedding planner who is right for you.

Unique Wedding Invitations
Check out these swoon worthy wedding invitation cards and save the date cards! These would be perfect for a vintage wedding or even a rustic wedding.
They are beautiful and can be customized to your every wedding desire! They even come in different colors.
Wedding invitations are one of the most important aspects of getting the theme of your wedding right, so you want to do your best to make it all fit together. If you are doing a vintage wedding, you do not want to have ultra modern invites. Try to keep everything within the same theme.
You can even use the flowers from these wedding invites as the flowers for you wedding, if you want to go all out. They would be lovely.
Just be sure to remember that you want to be true to yourself and be true to your theme to find the most unique wedding invitations possible. You want the invites to be keepsakes for all your friends and family to have. If the invitation is special, they will hold on to it and it will give them a trinket to help them remember you and your spouse and your wonderful wedding day.
Don’t forget to include all the key information, though, and save that address list! You’ll need it later.
