Non Traditional Wedding Idea – Temporary Tattoos!
Here’s an idea that comes straight from my own non traditional wedding! Get your guests involved with a little love flair. Print up temporary tattoos for your guests and put them in a basket or on the tables at the reception!
Our tattoos were something like the ones pictured here, except we added in our names and the wedding date. They turned out ultra-cool and everyone loved them.
The best part was all the photos that we got of wedding guests with these things slapped all over their faces, arms, legs, etc!
They’re super easy to make, too. Just get some temporary tattoo paper…You can find this online in several places like this one.
Once you get your paper, just create your tattoo design in a blank document and then start printing! The package of tattoo paper that you get will have detailed instructions on how to do it correctly. Make sure that you follow them!
Always remember to print out a test sheet on regular paper first. If that sheet looks good, go ahead and print out ONE tattoo paper sheet. Then if that one looks good, you can go on ahead and print out several at a time.
If you like the idea, but don’t want to do it yourself, there are a couple of places online where you can get custom temporary tattoos made for you. StrayTats.com is the cheapest one we have found. They actually have several templates that you can work with and just insert your names. These are great and while they are a little pricey, you can order any number from 1 to a thousand! They more you buy, the less they are each.
It’s way cheaper, though to just do them yourself. If you have trouble with the art end of it, surely you have a cool artist friend, right? There’s usually help right around the corner if you just ask.
Of course, if you just want simple non-custom wedding tattoos, you can easily find those online for very little money, but they are simply just not as cool.

Zombie Wedding Cake Topper
You just gotta love this zombie wedding cake topper. It’s available at etsy by BellaSmiles.
Delivery is only two weeks and she’ll custom make one for you! This is beginning to rival the Day of the Dead cake topper that I had at my wedding! (see our header)

Honeymoon Wedding Registry – Get What you Really Want!
With the help of wedding registries, couples no longer have to endure the hand tossed pottery bowl as a wedding gift from their Aunt Sally. But with more and more, non traditional weddings there are plenty of couples who already have a blender and don’t give a damn about fine china wondering what in the hell they are supposed to “register” for.

Beautiful Candy Store Wedding
Though I’m not so thrilled with the dress, the concept of a candy store wedding is awesome and freaky bad-ass.
As far as non traditional wedding venues go, this one is pretty amazing. Who wouldn’t want to get married amidst all that sugar?
Hopefully they made some candi sushi for the guests!
BTW, the dress was created on Project Runway and was made entirely out of candy wrappers. The bride borrowed it for the wedding.
These wedding pics make me think of whirly pop heaven!
