Ways to Save Money in 2010

cashWhen you’re planning a master wedding, you  might be trying to save money in all other aspects of life so that you can have the wedding of your dreams.

Saving money in 2010 is a great goal for everyone, not just the bride-to-be.  Here are a few ways to save money and keep everyone in the family happy and on budget.

  • Eat In – By dining out only on weekends, you can save as much as $500 per month!  If cooking is not your thing, then planning is very important.  If you can figure out 10 meals that you can cook (that you actually like to eat), you can stretch them out over the month.  Even if it’s PB&J, just keep your eyes on the prize and you can do it.
  • Shop Around for Car Insurance – You may be over paying for car insurance! Shop around online for the best rates and you just might be able to squirrel away a couple of extra hundred dollars per month.
  • Coupons – Your mother really did save money by clipping coupons and so can you.  Clip coupons from the Sunday paper to use on your regular grocery shopping day.  Since you’re planning to eat at home, you don’t want to use all that extra money you’re saving at the grocery store, so start clipping and start saving!

How are you planning to save money in 2010?
